I’m a self-professed television junkie.

But really, it’s not just TV. It’s film, webisodes, streamed content, e-readers, books and the backs of cereal boxes.  I have many years of experience consuming these media.  And a number of thoughts. My background is in magazine writing and personal journalism, which I don’t do so much anymore but it taught me a lot about writing. I spent 12 years as a set mom, which I also don’t do anymore (my daughter grew up) but that experience taught me a lot about making film and tv.

I have two recalcitrant miniature dachshunds. Jasper is 14, slightly deaf and has become really pissy. Everyone thinks Klaus is a girl, he’s just so pretty. He also suffers from intense separation anxiety.

My day job is running a boutique branding agency with my designer husband and our sons.

 

My guy likes art, design  and rides his bikes, a lot. Not so much the other media.

So, you know, a blog seemed like an idea.
